You don’t have to save these chocolate sugar cookies for the holidays because they are so tasty! They have just the right amount of chocolate, salt, and sweetness.   • Baking Sheet

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour subtract 2 tbsp, 220g
  • 2 tbsp corn starch 20g
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups cocoa powder Dutch processed preferred
  • 1 cup sugar 200g
  • 1 cups unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla 15mL


1. Sift the flour, corn starch, cocoa, and salt into a big bowl. Then, use a whisk to mix the ingredients.
2. In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar together. Use a paddle tool to mix on medium to low speed. Combine until fully mixed. Do not mix too much.
3. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix well and scrape the bowl’s sides.

4. Put the flour mix into the bowl. For 30 seconds, mix slowly.
5. When the dough sticks to the paddle, it’s ready. Do not mix too much.
5. Put two pieces of parchment paper on top of each other and roll out the dough.
6. Place on a baking sheet and chill for one hour.
7. Warm the oven up to 350 degrees.
8. Cut out forms with a cookie cutter.
9. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the middle is firm.
Let it cool all the way down.
